She also draws on her background as a post-secondary instructor and academic advisor, as well as her research in persistence and wellbeing, to support clients in aligning performance with long-term sustainability.

Maria’s coaching and clinical work is grounded in a somatic methodology that guides clients to decode how their past conditioning is physically organized in their body and nervous system.
By transforming these protective, automatic stress patterns into adaptive physical options, she helps clients embody an aligned, regulated presence and take values-driven action under pressure.
Born in Sydney, raised in Northern Italy, and later settled in Oregon, Maria grew up across different countries and languages. That upbringing opened her eyes early to how much culture shapes the way people express themselves — and how much can go unsaid between languages. That early awareness still shapes how she works with clients today: listening not just to what’s said, but to what the body is already saying underneath it. Maria lives in beautiful Southern Oregon with her husband and Kuro the cat.

Matthew’s coaching is grounded in the belief that leadership is the most powerful force for good in the world, and that world-class leadership begins with the quiet, essential work of self-leadership. He listens for the resonance between a leader’s values and their actions, helping them clear away the modern noise to reconnect with their most authentic way of leading.
Matthew’s perspective was shaped by nineteen years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces. From commanding tanks in combat to navigating the high-stakes world of multi-national operations in Latvia, he learned that true strength is found in humility and that the best leaders are also the best students. His journey later took an intentional turn into the art of furniture making—a year spent learning that both wood and people must be worked with, not against. This experience deeply informs his coaching today: he approaches each client with the attention, patience, and respect required to reveal the unique grain of their character.
Most recently, as Chief Operating Officer of a cybersecurity startup, Matthew navigated the complexities of the tech world, helping leaders find clarity in uncertainty and courage in the face of rapid change. He believes that every leader is a coach and a friend, and he is committed to walking the path with those who are ambitious not just in what they want to build, but in who they want to become.
Matthew lives in Ottawa with his wife Tiffany, and their dog Juno, where he enjoys the stillness of a long hike or a bike ride and remains active in his community, seeking out the stories and lived experiences of those around him.
